Job summary

kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP USA company, seeks a Lead Building Automation and Controls Engineer to design automation and monitoring systems for data centers and mission critical facilities. You will develop drawings, specifications, and sequences of operations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years' experience in building automation, is proficient with AutoCAD and Revit, and can travel to project sites. EIT or PE licensure is preferred, with strong communication and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years designing building automation controls for commercial/industrial facilities.
• EIT or PE licensure or the ability to become licensed.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of building, mechanical, electrical and energy codes.

Responsibilities

• Design automation control and monitoring systems for data centers.
• Develop drawings, specifications, and sequences of operations.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and vendors.
• Attend client meetings and support project phases from proposal to construction.
• Ensure project delivery meets design requirements and quality standards.
