Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Area Construction Manager to lead the Data Center Design, Engineering, & Construction (DEC) delivery teams across multiple regions. The ACM will oversee land-ready, construction-ready, new build, retrofit, and live-environment work, with extensive travel (50%+).

You will manage 8–10 direct reports and collaborate with Safety, QAQC, and Project Controls to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes, while advancing Meta's culture and leadership expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale construction programs (greenfield and retrofit) in mission-critical environments.
• Strong ability to communicate, present, and negotiate with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience with multiple contract delivery methods and change management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee New Build, Land Ready and Construction Ready sites and retrofit projects.
• Provide clear, timely communication to Area Manager and organization on capacity and delivery issues.
• Manage project financial health and KPI monitoring for assigned Area.
• Provide leadership to site teams and drive execution while modeling Meta culture.
• Support contract negotiations and Change Orders to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Review and advise on contracts and Change Orders above signing authority.
• Coordinate with other ACMs to align priorities and share best practices.
• Ensure timely resolution of site issues and onboarding of new hires.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to optimize processes.
