Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
• A professional architectural license is required.
• Familiar with data center designs including airflow management, power distribution, and life safety.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops, coordinates and reviews architectural work on a medium size project or assignment insupport of a global business unit. Coordinates and interfaces as directed with the day-to-day technical work of personnel
• Develops conceptual designs for architectural projects or projects having specialized or uniquearchitectural requirements
• Supports preparation of estimates, staffing needs and schedules
• Prepares the preparation of discipline estimates and work plan in accordance with projectscope, schedule, and budget, and supports implementation and assists with performance reporting
• Reviews and approves key engineering drawings and calculations and bid summaries
• Interprets new or special regulations, codes, standards, criteria, and performance data
• Coordinates with client representatives, as directed, to obtain their approval of architectural aspects ofthe work
• Reviews and approves key design documents, supplier drawings and data, material specifications,drawings, and change orders, for the project to which assigned
• Mentors architectural personnel by providing on-the-job training for their professional development
