Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Lead Data Architect to design and oversee data architecture solutions for Army intelligence data. You will drive data modeling, warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud components while coordinating with analysts and engineers to ensure requirements are met.

The role requires strong leadership, deep AWS expertise, and a TS/SCI clearance. You will mentor engineers, establish governance practices, and deliver high-impact data solutions within a mission-driven

Qualifications

8+ years in data architecture or analytics with enterprise data models for secure DoD information management systems
8+ years of SQL experience including data modeling and cloud data platforms
Experience with Python data frameworks for processing and automation
Experience designing and governing data architectures in AWS environments
Experience with data governance practices, metadata management, and data catalogs
Experience with ETL/ELT and modern data pipelines
Project management experience delivering schedule-bound technical engagements
TS/SCI clearance and DoD eligibility requirements

Responsibilities

Lead design of data architecture solutions for integrating data pipelines from Army intelligence sources
Collaborate with analysts and technology teams to resolve data-architecture issues
Advise on best practices for data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and governance
Guide the team in designing, developing, and testing cloud solution components
Serve as liaison between clients and developers to ensure requirements are met
