Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, data science, information science, business, or related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5+ progressive years of IT experience with strong database design and data transform processes.
• Experience in data architecture and design.
• Experience with data governance and implementation of a data governance framework.
• Experience with data lake, big data, or ETL tools.
• Experience creating dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik and warehousing apps.
• Experience providing technical guidance within Data Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development of data strategy supporting business objectives.
• Lead design and implementation of harmonized data models and database solutions.
• Monitor and implement data governance strategy and standards.
• Develop secure data sharing solutions with domain experts and IT staff.
• Mentor junior team members in data management practices.
• Lead end-to-end analytics projects including dashboards and automated reporting.
