Capital Health is seeking a Manager of Data Analytics & Engineering to lead the design, development, and operational support of enterprise data platforms and pipelines. You will guide a team of data engineers, drive reliability, and partner with clinical and business stakeholders to deliver secure data solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in data engineering with leadership experience, strong SQL/Python skills, and hands-on work with Snowflake, Databricks, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in data engineering or related technical disciplines, including two years of leadership or people management when a Bachelor's degree is present.
• Eight years of progressively responsible experience in data engineering or related technical field if only a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; experience with modern data platforms and ETL/ELT tools.
• Cloud platform experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and distributed data processing (Spark).
• Experience with IT operations, ITIL familiarity, and monitoring/observability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data engineers; align goals with IT Operations and enterprise priorities.
• Design and maintain scalable enterprise data platforms (data warehouse, data lake, lakehouse).
• Partner with infrastructure and cloud teams to optimize performance, cost, and resiliency; ensure high availability and DR readiness.
• Oversee development and maintenance of ETL/ELT pipelines and SLAs.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and incident response; drive automation and standardization.
• Collaborate with IT Operations to deploy and support data platforms within enterprise processes.
• Contribute to ITSM processes; support audit, compliance, and risk management.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical designs; work with BI, analytics, clinical, and business teams.
• Work with security, governance, and enterprise architecture to enforce data quality and stewardship.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy, regulatory, and security requirements; stay current with modern data technologies.
