Job summary

Correlation One seeks Lead Instructors for the Data Analytics track of a new, fully virtual training-to-jobs program for young people in Somalia. You will teach data cleaning, analyzing and visualizing data to answer business questions, and will finish with portfolio projects that you can show to employers.

You'll lead live lectures, guide learners in Excel, SQL, Python and Tableau/Power BI, and collaborate with Correlation One staff to drive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Professional working proficiency in Somali and English.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data analytics, BI, or a related role.
• A degree in a Data Analytics-related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Teaching or training experience with adult learners, ideally in remote settings.
• Comfortable with Zoom, Pumble or Slack and online learning platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead live virtual lectures for the Data Analytics track.
• Prepare hands-on demonstrations using curriculum provided by Correlation One.
• Collaborate with the operations team and Teaching Assistants.
• Meet with the Correlation One team ahead of lectures and attend weekly check-ins.
• Help shape learners' portfolio projects to reflect real-world data work.
