Job summary

Correlation One is seeking Lead Instructors to deliver high-quality, live, virtual instruction for AI and data programs. You will lead large online lectures, typically 30 to 300 learners, and partner with Correlation One staff to ensure outstanding learning outcomes.

You will design and conduct virtual sessions, supervise Q&A and chat, and adapt to varying schedules including weekends. Strong communication and empathy for diverse adult learners are essential.

Job Summary:

Lead Instructors at Correlation One are responsible for delivering high-quality, live, virtual instruction and partnering with company personnel to drive exceptional learning outcomes. Their main focus as educators is to conduct large synchronous online lectures on technical content, training anywhere from 30 to 300 diverse Learners at a time, depending on the program. This role involves preparing and leading virtual classroom sessions, collaborating with operations personnel, and contributing to the overall success of the program.

Program Specific Information:

• Program dates: Jan 11th - April 30th, 2027
• Lecture days/time: Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 pm - 2:30 PM ET

Virtual Classroom Leadership:

• Prepare and lead virtual classroom sessions for a range of Learners.
• Oversee the management of class time Q&A and monitor chat flow, and overall class energy and engagement dynamics

Collaboration:

• Collaborate closely with Correlation One operations personnel to ensure smooth program delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Be flexible in contributing to classes during weekdays and/or weekends, as program schedules vary.
• Assist in lesson design, development, and improvement which may include tracking edits, suggestions, or changes to curriculum as needed

• Communication:
• Communicate respectfully, recognizing that online or written communication may lack tone.
• Maintain extra communicative contact with Correlation One personnel.

• Foster a healthy learning environment by maintaining a positive attitude and promoting a culture of learning.
• Course Improvement:
• Contribute to course improvement by providing thoughtful and transparent feedback to the Correlation One team.

Your expertise

• Excellent educator with stellar communication skills
• Experience working in physical data centers or similar environments
• Experience in mentoring or supervising if no prior teaching experience
• A desire to support students in upskilling their careers into data roles
• Empathy, flexibility, patience; passion for working with diverse learners who are new to content
• Fluent in English; professional verbal and writing skills
• A+ or Network+ certification are nice to have
• Strong teaching, training, facilitation, coaching, or onboarding experience, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to beginner learners
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and support adult learners from diverse backgrounds
• A strong interest in helping learners transition into data center operations and infrastructure careers

Where you are

• This is a remote position with the preference that the ideal candidate is willing to provide instruction in the Eastern Time zone.

Compensation

• The compensation range for this position is specific to location and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions. These factors include (but are not limited to) location, experience, education and skill sets. This includes the 2.5 hour lecture, prep time, and a weekly meeting with C1 staff.
