Job summary

Benchmark Analytics is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join our data-driven, analytics-focused product team. You will work closely with clients to map their data, analyze large datasets, and support ETL development.

Responsibilities include data quality validation, documenting pipelines, and presenting findings to stakeholders. The role involves travel within the United States and remote collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 3-4+ years of client-facing analyst experience with data.
• Strong communication; ability to articulate complex topics.
• Experience with data exploration and ETL concepts.
• Understanding of data mapping from source to target systems.
• Familiarity with relational databases and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in understanding their data to map to Benchmark products.
• Engage with clients to document data creation processes for internal teams.
• Analyze large file-based datasets and map data from sources to targets.
• Continuously optimize data processes for efficiency and quality.
• Validate data completeness against data science requirements.
• Develop and maintain documentation for ETL workflows and data dictionaries.
• Provide input on data structures, quality, and consistency.
• Investigate data quality issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Assess pipeline processes, identify inefficiencies, and test improvements.
• Travel within the United States as needed.
