Raymond James is seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join the Enterprise Data Analytics team in Saint Petersburg, FL. The role focuses on delivering complex data analysis, reporting, and scalable data solutions across critical business and regulatory initiatives.

The ideal candidate has advanced SQL skills, strong analytical abilities, and experience with large enterprise datasets, leading analytical initiatives, mentoring analysts, and contributing to data modernization and AI tooling adoption.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8–10 years in data analytics or related fields.
Advanced SQL with complex queries and performance tuning.
Experience with large enterprise datasets across multiple systems.
Knowledge of data warehouses/cloud platforms.
Strong communication and stakeholder management.
Ability to mentor analysts and lead initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead complex data analysis and reporting initiatives for business, risk, and regulatory needs.
Translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries for extraction and reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders and enterprise data teams on data structures and mappings.
Mentor analysts and drive automation and data modernization efforts.
Support AI tools adoption and data governance initiatives.
