Job summary

Zühlke is seeking a Lead Data & AI Architect to design and implement data and AI platforms that empower analytics and generative AI across client environments. You will articulate architecture choices to stakeholders and drive measurable, quality-focused outcomes.

You will shape data products, ensure security and governance, and guide teams through cloud and on‑prem deployments, with a DevOps mindset. Strong communication in German and English is essential.

Qualifications

• Architect data & AI platforms for analytics, GenAI, and production systems.
• Strong data mesh, data security, and governance experience.
• Cloud and on-premises design with AWS/Azure/GCP familiarity.
• DevOps/DataOps/MLOps mindset and capable leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design sophisticated architectures for data & AI projects and lead implementation.
• Promote data & AI governance, security, and best practices.
• Guide cloud and on-prem solutions across platforms.
• Lead data engineering efforts for scalable pipelines and data products.
• Operationalize ML/GenAI from prototype to production, with observability.
• Share knowledge and mentor junior colleagues.
