Erias Ventures in Arlington, VA is seeking a seasoned Cyber Incident Manager to join our security operations team. You will correlate incident data, triage events, and apply defense-in-depth principles to protect our enterprise networks.

Candidates should have 5+ years of cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations experience, knowledge of NIST 800-62 and FISMA, and a TS/SCI clearance with DHS suitability ability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of directly relevant experience in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations.
• Knowledge of incident response and handling methodologies.
• Familiarity with NIST 800-62 (latest revision) and FISMA as they pertain to reporting incidents.
• Knowledge of NCCIC National Cyber Incident Scoring System to prioritize triaging of incidents.
• Understanding of general attack stages from footprinting to maintaining access.

Responsibilities

• Correlating incident data to identify trends in reported incidents.
• Recommending defense in depth principles and practices.
• Performing CND incident triage to determine scope, urgency, and impact.
• Researching known resolution steps to mitigate CND incidents.
• Applying cybersecurity concepts to detection and defense of intrusions.
• Monitoring external sources to stay current on CND threats.
• Identifying incident causes and key questions for external entities.
• Receiving and analyzing network alerts from enterprise sources.
• Tracking CND incidents from detection to final resolution.
• Providing support during shifts (M-F 1400-2230 EST).
