Job summary

Nightwing seeks a Cyber Incident Manager to support on-site response for a U.S. Government client in Arlington, VA.

The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, 5+ years in cyber incident management or cybersecurity operations, and knowledge of incident handling methodologies and NIST standards. Responsibilities include correlating incident data, performing CN D triage, researching mitigation steps, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve breaches while maintaining compliance and rapid

Qualifications

• Requires BS in Incident Management, Operations Management, Cybersecurity or related field; HS Diploma with 7–9 years related experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Correlate incident data to identify trends in reported incidents.
• Recommend defense in depth principles and practices.
• Perform CN D incident triage to determine scope, urgency, impact.
• Research and compile known resolution steps for CN D incidents.
• Apply cybersecurity concepts to detection and defense of intrusions; analyze log data.
• Monitor external data sources to stay current on threat conditions.
• Identify incident causes and learn background vectors from external entities.
• Receive and analyze network alerts to determine possible causes.
• Track CN D incidents from detection to resolution; coordinate with teams.
