Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of documented, specialized operational experience in cyber defense in a DoD or Enterprise IT environment.
• Certifications: SOC Tier 3 / IR Lead — DCWF 531 (Cyber Defense Incident Responder), Advanced; and DCWF 511 (Cyber Defense Analyst), Advanced.
• Active Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis on suspected Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) activity and complex intrusions.
• Plan and execute hunt missions using hypothesis-driven approaches.
• Develop and validate detection content (SIEM correlation rules, YARA, Snort/Suricata, host-based policies).
• Coordinate signature submissions with the CTI cell for promotion to production sensors.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to Tier 1 and Tier 2 personnel.
