Qualifications

• Certified Veterinary Technician with active CVT credentials and VTNE completed.
• Previous veterinary technician experience required.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the technician team in daily hospital operations.
• Partner with the Practice Manager to keep the treatment area efficient.
• Mentor and train veterinary technicians and assistants.
• Help create efficient workflows while fostering a positive team culture.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, surgery, and treatment plans.
• Monitor anesthesia and surgical patients.
• Perform blood draws, IV catheter placement, radiographs, laboratory diagnostics, dental procedures, and nursing care.
• Manage hospitalized and critical care patients.
• Educate pet parents to ensure informed and supported care.
