Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a LeadCVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our cardiovascular surgery team. You will provide expert perioperative care, circulating and scrub roles, and collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and perfusionists to achieve exceptional patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years CVOR experience, an active RN license in Florida or multistate, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associates Degree in Nursing or higher is required
• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license
• A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required
• At least 3 yearsCVOR experience supporting open-heart, vascular, and/or thoracic surgical procedures is required for the Lead role
• Prior leadership experience strongly preferred
• On-call is required during select non-business hours

• Maintain a safe surgical environment by adhering to infection prevention, regulatory, and patient safety standards.
• Assess patient needs and advocate for safe, high-quality care throughout the perioperative experience.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in sunny Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a dedicated LeadCVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join our specialized surgical team. In this role, youll be an essential part of complex, life-saving procedures, collaborating with cardiovascular surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and fellow nurses to deliver exceptional patient care.

As the LeadCVOR RN, youll have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, highly specialized environment supporting cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures while helping patients through some of their most critical healthcare moments.
