Job summary

Advocate Health and Sanger Heart and Vascular Institute in Charlotte, NC, invite applications for the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program Director. This academic leadership role is part of a nationally recognized program within a quaternary care center.

As Program Director, you will drive accreditation, curriculum development, and recruitment efforts while mentoring fellows and supporting research and scholarly activity across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and current medical license in good standing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to utilize technology effectively for administration of the fellowship program.
• Ongoing clinical activity and academic achievements in cardiovascular disease.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the initial ACGME accreditation process and maintain compliance with requirements.
• Develop, review, and update the didactic curriculum for fellows.
• Oversee compliance at participating training sites.
• Lead recruitment, assessment and promotion of fellows, and education-related committees.
• Provide faculty development and mentorship to fellows.
• Oversee program coordinator duties.
