Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Eligible for Florida medical license and TMH privileges.
• Board certification in Cardiovascular Disease by ABIM or AOBIM.
• Minimum 3 years in an ACGME-accredited residency/fellowship setting.
• Evidence of ongoing scholarly activity including publications or leadership roles.

Responsibilities

• ACGME compliance oversight for Cardiovascular Disease program.
• Collaborate with GME leadership and DIO to ensure program integration.
• Design and implement a 36-month cardiology curriculum meeting COCATS Level 2.
• Lead holistic recruitment via ERAS and NRMP.
• Direct CCC and PEC; monitor fellow milestones.
• Oversee weekly didactics, rounds, journals, and M&M conferences.
• Mentor fellows in research and QI projects with scholarship adherence.
