Novant Health Heart & Vascular Institute in the Greater Charlotte region of North Carolina is recruiting an Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist to join our expanding team and contribute to the development of a destination LVAD program at Presbyterian Medical Center.

The position offers inpatient/ICU rounds, outpatient management, and opportunities to expand into diverse heart failure states with a robust research program and protected time for administration and patient care.

Qualifications

Board certification (or eligibility) in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Medicine
New graduates welcome to apply
Interest in PAH, HCM, Genetics, are welcome but not required for position

Responsibilities

Inpatient and cardiac ICU rounding on dedicated heart failure team
Outpatient management across the spectrum of heart failure patients
Robust sarcoid, amyloid and pulmonary hypertension programs
Opportunities to further expand into HCM and other rare disease states
Dedicated/protected Cath lab time for right heart catheterization and related procedures
Robust research program with dedicated staff for heart failure clinical trials
Protected administration time to complete tasks and focus on areas of interest
Potential partnership and shared-care management of transplant patients with regional partners
