Job summary

Chico's FAS, Inc. in Slidell, LA is seeking a Lead Customer Specialist to create a welcoming, customer-centered environment and act as Manager on Duty when needed.

You will deliver personalized service, share product knowledge and build long-term relationships while maintaining brand standards and store appearance.

Flexible scheduling, 18+ years old, 1+ year retail preferred; opportunities for advancement across our brands.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year retail experience preferred.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Demonstrates an ownership mindset and leads by example.
• Effective leadership, people management, and communication skills.
• Collaborative leadership style that invests in developing talent.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visually inspiring store environment that reflects brand standards.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, guidelines, and business practices.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork and collaboration.
• Build connections with the local community through events, outreach, and initiatives.

About The Role

As Lead Customer Specialist, your focus is on delivering a welcoming, customer-centered environment that reflects Chico's culture of hospitality. This role operates as the Manager on Duty in the absence of another manager, leading the team and elevating the customer experience.
