Job summary

Chico's in Delray Beach is seeking a Lead Customer Specialist to deliver a welcoming, customer-focused shopping experience and to serve as Manager on Duty when needed. You will lead the team, mentor staff, and ensure brand standards are met while guiding customers with personalized styling advice.

You will build lasting relationships by sharing product knowledge, supporting store events, and contributing to community outreach.

Qualifications

• 1+ year retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability - including nights, weekends, holidays.

About the role

As Lead Customer Specialist, your focus is on delivering a welcoming, customer-centered environment that reflects Chico's culture of hospitality. This role operates as the Manager on Duty in the absence of another manager, leading the team and elevating the customer experience.

• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork and collaboration.
• Build connections with the local community through events, outreach, and initiatives that expand Chico's presence.

You’ll bring to the role

• Passion for our brand, fashion, and empowering confidence.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ year retail experience preferred.
• Flexible availability - including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Demonstrates an ownership mindset and leads by example.
• Effective leadership, people management, and communication skills.
• Collaborative leadership style that invests in the process of developing talent.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
