Job summary

Client Growth Resources, Inc. seeks a Sr. Project Engineer to take projects from concept to completion for customized automated equipment in Milwaukee.

You will lead design efforts, manage resources, and coordinate with customers and suppliers. The role requires strong mechanical design skills and hands-on experience with welding, fixtures, and GD&T. Candidates should have a BSME or equivalent, 5+ years of project design, and knowledge of SolidWorks, robotics, vision systems, and controls.

Qualifications

• BSME or similar degree with strong mechanical design skills.
• 5+ years of project design experience for fully customized automated equipment.
• SolidWorks experience is required.
• Experience with welding, fixture design and GD&T.
• Desirable: robotics, vision systems, computer controls and data acquisition.
• Direct experience working with customers and suppliers is desirable.
• Interpersonal verbal and written communication skills are important.
• Proven ability to manage large projects to a timeline and schedule.
• Good computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Design of custom automated machines contracted for a client; lead design teams for larger projects.
• Manage resources and break down design tasks with clear milestones and timelines.
• Incorporate robotics, vision systems, welding, fixtures, controls and material handling as needed.
• Regularly communicate project status to customers and management.
