Job summary

ESFM, the corporate Integrated Facilities Management division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Lead Janitor in Clark, NJ. The role focuses on overseeing training for custodial staff and ensuring compliance with safety and cleaning protocols.

You will train both classroom and hands-on sessions, update materials, and monitor trainee progress. This is a full-time position located at 159 Terminal Avenue, offering a supportive team environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hospitality and customer service experience required.
• Strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Trains custodial associates and oversees training activities.
• Conducts classroom and hands-on training on safety, compliance, and policies.
• Updates and provides training on janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
• Performs administrative training tasks and maintains trainee records.
• Provides feedback during orientation and supports disciplinary actions as needed.
