Job summary

ESFM is seeking a full-time Janitor at 30 Terminal Avenue, Clark, NJ 07066. The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. No experience is required and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Keeps buildings clean by performing heavy cleaning duties, including floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.
• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors.
• Moves equipment and furniture to facilitate cleaning and returns them to their correct placements.
• Cleans assigned areas with approved materials and equipment; sanitizes surfaces following the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards to maintain a clean environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Seeks out areas needing cleaning and takes initiative to complete tasks.
• Performs tasks per supervisor instructions and complies with applicable guidelines.
