Job summary

Douglas County School District is seeking a Custodian - Level 2 at Highlands Ranch High School to supervise custodial operations in District and Contract services and ensure facilities meet standards.

The role requires coordinating substitute coverage, monitoring staff, submitting work orders, and maintaining safety and cleanliness across multiple sites. 40 hours weekly, year-round schedule with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in facilities or custodial management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate substitute coverage for absences in the Feeder Group area.
• Monitor Contracted and district personnel.
• Submit accurate and necessary work orders.
• Respond to all calls from staff in the absence of Group Leader.
• Monitor supplies and budget for feeder area.
• Complete inspections and reports in a timely manner.
• Assume leadership in the absence of the Group Leader.
• Supervise custodial operations at multiple sites, including district and contract custodial services in the absence of the Group Leader.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
• Assist all emergency operations personnel as required.
• Maintain knowledge of facility operations including HVAC and related systems.
