Tessera is seeking a Lead Custodian in Spokane, WA to supervise daily cleaning at the Federal Building and U.S. Post Office. This full-time, non‑exempt role runs Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm with a pay rate of $20.35 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–3 years of custodial or janitorial experience preferred; combined experience and education will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example while performing daily custodial duties and coordinate daily work assignments with the custodial team.
• Train, coach, and support custodial employees on proper cleaning techniques, equipment operations, safety procedures, and contract expectations.
• Inspect completed work to ensure cleanliness, quality, and compliance with contract standards; address deficiencies as needed.
• Follow and promote all safety policies and industrial safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Communicate professionally and courteously with customers, federal employees, building occupants, visitors, and management.
