Job summary

The Liberty County Board of Commissioners is seeking a dependable and experienced Senior Building Service Worker to lead custodial operations in county buildings and facilities. This role combines hands-on cleaning with supervision of assigned staff to ensure buildings are clean, safe, sanitary, and well maintained.

The ideal candidate will supervise daily tasks, coordinate supplies, and support events while upholding high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• More than two years of related experience.
• Valid Georgia Class C driver’s license and acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and directs daily work of Building Service Workers.
• Performs routine cleaning, sanitizes restrooms, vacuums, mops.
• Monitors inventory and replenishes supplies as needed.
• Cleans rooms, fixtures, and changes lightbulbs.
• Assists with setup and moving of furniture for events.
