Liberty University is hiring a Custodian for First, Second, and Third Shift to clean and maintain LU Facilities on and off campus. You’ll ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe environment across lobbies, dorms, bathrooms, classrooms, and food service areas.

The role requires independent work, adherence to safety policies, and a positive, professional appearance. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and flexibility for weekend/evening hours is needed to support university operations.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1+ year of related cleaning experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability with company’s agent.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds and perform custodial duties in a Virginia climate.
• Must have good communication and a professional appearance.

Mansioni

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of bathrooms and interior spaces using cleaning equipment.
• Collect trash and recyclable materials; support recycling efforts.
• Report unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Monitor facilities during events to ensure high cleanliness and patron satisfaction.
• Be available for emergencies, weather-related closures, and after-hours events.
