Job summary

Chandler Unified School District in Chandler, Arizona is seeking a Custodian - Elementary Lead for Frye Elementary. The role carries a 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM shift with a 2612H full-time (12 month) calendar and a 2385PT option.

Base pay is $19.01 per hour with a $0.45/hour lead differential, plus benefits. The job requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to read and write English, custodial experience, and a satisfactory background check.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write English as pertains to job functions.
• Progressively responsible custodial experience.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
• Vision and hearing are adequate to exercise job responsibilities in a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties relating to cleaning the school site.
• Direct and monitor the work of custodians and provide training on an ongoing basis.
• Order custodial supplies.
• Provide input to the principal for custodian evaluations.
• Keep custodial equipment clean and maintained.
• Sweep, dust, vacuum, scrub, wax, and polish floors.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for the facility.
