Chandler Unified School District is seeking a Custodian for an elementary school location in Chandler, AZ. The position is full-time with a 12-month calendar and an hourly pay grade of 109.

Starting immediately, the role requires English reading/writing ability, custodial experience, and a cleared background check. Benefits include retirement, health and life insurance, and paid holidays. Schedule is 12 PM–8:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English as it pertains to job functions.
• Previous custodial experience desired.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, dust, vacuum, scrub, wax, and polish floors and surfaces.
• Wash windows, walls, woodwork, and equipment.
• Maintain assigned areas to prescribed standards.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed.
• Inspect fire equipment and report safety hazards.
