Job summary

Marsden Services is seeking a Lead Custodian for Birdville Independent School District. Schedule is 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday. Pay rate depends on experience.

The role involves supervising custodial operations, maintaining clean facilities, and coordinating with campus administration on safety and security matters. The Head Custodian will lead safety inspections, manage keys, ensure staff follow procedures, report facility concerns, and participate in campus safety activities with

• Supervising and coordinating custodial operations at the assigned campus.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and proper condition of the building and grounds.
• Working with campus administration on safety and security concerns.
• Participating in building safety inspections and addressing identified issues.
• Meeting with campus administration regularly regarding campus safety and security.
• Monitoring custodial employees and ensuring they follow district procedures.
• Managing custodial keys and ensuring staff place keys in the Head Custodian lock box at end of shifts.
• Helping ensure custodial staff follow district safety procedures and required training.
• Reporting maintenance, safety, security, and other facility concerns.
• Campus walks and addressing safety/security issues.

The Head Custodian is responsible for duties including:

• Supervising and coordinating custodial operations at the assigned campus.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and proper condition of the building and grounds.

• Participating in building safety inspections/walk-throughs and addressing identified issues.
• Meeting with campus administration regularly regarding campus safety and security.
• Monitoring custodial employees and ensuring they follow district procedures.
• Managing custodial keys, custodial employees to place their campus keys in the Head Custodian lock box at the end of their shifts.
• Helping ensure custodial staff follow district safety procedures and required training.
• Reporting maintenance, safety, security, and other facility concerns.
• Campus walks, and safety/security issues.
