COMPENSATION:
Range 125; Schedule M; Step 1: $4,490.24 - Step 5: $5,457.93 (Monthly)
TYPE OF RECRUITMENT:
This is a PROMOTIONAL and OPEN recruitment to establish an eligibility list and fill vacancies. The eligibility list will be used to fill vacancies that may occur during the life of the eligibility list. Per agreement with our classified bargaining unit laid-off CVUHSD classified employees have a preference for reemployment to any vacant position for which they are qualified and apply. In a promotional and open recruitment, the promotional list shall take precedence. If the promotional list contains fewer than three eligible and willing ranks, certification of additional ranks shall be made from the open list.
TESTING PROCEDURE:
The examination process will consist of a written examination and an oral technical interview. Applicants will be notified of their application status via email.
DESCRIPTION:
The Lead Custodian position provides custodial services at assigned sites to ensure facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained for students, staff and visitors. The Lead Custodian performs a variety of specialized cleaning tasks, oversees the preparation of facilities for instructional activities and campus events; supports and coordinates the work of assigned custodial staff, and ensures all duties are completed safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
Possession of a valid California driver's license.
Positions in this classification may require the use of a personal vehicle to conduct work and visit various school sites.
