Position Details

Available: Full Time Lead Custodian - 1st Shift

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm in the Harper Creek School District, Battle Creek.

Wage: $15.50/hour

Primary Responsibilities

• Use approved methods and materials for cleaning and maintenance
• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
• Operate floor equipment such as scrubbers and vacuums
• Empty trash receptacles
• Clean furniture, windows, sills, walls
• Restock restrooms, janitorial closets, and break rooms
• Set up and clean after events
• Perform light building maintenance and snow/lawn care as needed

Position Requirements

• Previous custodial/janitorial experience
• GED or High School Diploma
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Lift up to 40 lbs
• Follow verbal and written instructions
• Work with minimal supervision
• Pass criminal background check
• Valid driver’s license
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Flexible availability
