Job summary

Melwood Horticultural Training Center Inc. in Baltimore, MD, seeks a Lead Worker Custodial for a 1:30 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday–Friday shift. The role pays $24.11 per hour with full-time status and requires successful background checks and the ability to obtain a government security clearance.

Under the Custodial Foreman, you will perform cleaning tasks, supervise temporary workers, and assist with crew supervision as needed. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and custodial experience.
• Some supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to pass security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops hallways, stairs and offices.
• Empties waste baskets and disposes trash correctly.
• Waxes and buffs floors as specified.
• Cleans glass and windows.
• Operates and maintains cleaning equipment.
• May supervise crew temporarily and assist foreman.
