Job summary

Cresco Labs is seeking an IPM Technician to support pest and disease management in our cultivation facility. You will assist in measuring, mixing, and applying pesticide solutions in accordance with Cresco Labs policy, while monitoring plant health and maintaining clean, safe working conditions.

The role requires two years in a production setting, the ability to mentor junior staff, and proficiency with Excel/Word.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a production facility or similar regulated environment.
• Ability to lead/train junior staff and maintain logs and reports.
• Proficient with basic Excel/Word and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in IPM research for pest and disease solutions as directed by IPM Supervisor.
• Measure, mix, and apply pesticide and foliar solutions per policy.
• Scout and monitor plant health; ensure facility cleanliness and safety.
• Maintain IPM logs and reports; support team with assigned duties.
• Keep IPM equipment and tools clean and organized; restock supplies.
• Record inventory counts of IPM supplies.
• Provide support to the team as required.

SCHEDULE

Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 6:30 pm

CORE JOB DUTIES

• Assists in research pest and disease solutions as requested by IPM Supervisor


• Responsible for measuring and mixing pesticide and foliar applications and applying these mixtures according to Cresco Labs policy


• Ensuring plant health by scouting, scoping, and monitoring plant health according to Cresco Labs policy, as well as any other tasks required


• Responsible for filling out all IPM logs and reports as outlined by the IPM Supervisor Performing all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility


• Responsible for the cleanliness of all IPM equipment and tools including sprayers, containers, mixing tools, application tools, workbenches and respiratory equipment.


• Record inventory counts of all IPM supplies


• Provide support and help the team as required .

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS

• Two years' experience within a production facility, regulated field highly preferred . Or, any satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the above-described duties.


• Demonstrated experience training, leading and/or mentoring junior staff or new hires preferred .


• Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task and work as a self-starter


• Ability to obtain and maintain State of Illinois Pesticide Applicator License; including completion of state required documents & exams.


• Ability to wear proper protective equipment for extended time periods


• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment


• Basic Math Comprehension


• Basic understanding of Excel and Word


• Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.


• Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.


• Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.

In accordance with any local and state compensation laws, the compensation listed is the current estimated range for the position. Final offer details and future compensation may be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Pay Range

$23.50 - $23.50 USD
