Job summary

Cresco Labs is hiring for an IPM-focused role in the cultivation facility. You will assist with pest and disease solutions, measure and mix pesticide foliar applications, and monitor plant health in line with company policy.

The position requires two years in a production setting or related training, plus ability to operate protective equipment, handle inventory, and maintain logs. Opportunities for growth exist in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

  • Two years’ experience within a production facility, regulated field highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience training, leading and/or mentoring junior staff or new hires preferred.
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task and work as a self-starter.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain State of Illinois Pesticide Applicator License; including completion of state required documents & exams.
  • Ability to wear proper protective equipment for extended time periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing and challenging environment.
  • Basic Math Comprehension.
  • Requires work around plant material, including pollen/dust exposure.
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or perform repetitive actions for long periods.
  • Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and help the team as required.

MISSION STATEMENT

SCHEDULE

Monday - Thursday, 8:00am - 6:30 pm

CORE JOB DUTIES
  • Assists in research pest and disease solutions as requested by IPM Supervisor
  • Responsible for measuring and mixing pesticide and foliar applications and applying these mixtures according to Cresco Labs policy
  • Ensuring plant health by scouting, scoping, and monitoring plant health according to Cresco Labs policy, as well as any other tasks required
  • Responsible for filling out all IPM logs and reports as outlined by the IPM Supervisor Performing all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe cultivation facility
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of all IPM equipment and tools including sprayers, containers, mixing tools, application tools, workbenches and respiratory equipment.
  • Record inventory counts of all IPM supplies
  • Provide support and help the team as required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLS
  • Two years’ experience within a production facility, regulated field highly preferred. Or, any satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the above-described duties.
  • Demonstrated experience training, leading and/or mentoring junior staff or new hires preferred.
  • Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task and work as a self-starter
  • Ability to obtain and maintain State of Illinois Pesticide Applicator License; including completion of state required documents & exams.

  • Requires work around plant material, which could include exposure to plant pollen and/or dust.
  • Requires ability to sit, stand, kneel, and/or do repetitive actions with your hands for long periods of time.
  • Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs to torso level.

  • Must be 21 years of age or older to apply

$23.50 - $23.50 USD
