Job summary

MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, ME is seeking a Lead CT Technologist to manage daily workflow, scheduling, and mentoring the radiology team.

This role performs high-risk, complex CT exams, assists in equipment evaluation and policy development, and supports performance monitoring and daily operations.

Requires ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT, state radiologic license, BLS within 30 days, and at least 3 years of CT experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology is required.
• ARRT-CT certification or NMTCB-CT is required. A valid state Radiologic Technologist license is required.
• Current BLS certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily workflow and scheduling in the CT department.
• Provides training and mentoring to staff; monitors performance and coordinates daily operations.
• Performs high-risk, complex CT exams/cases as needed.
• Assists in equipment evaluation and policy development.

Skills

3+ years CT experience

ARRT-CT/NMTCB-CT certification

State radiologic license

BLS certification within 30 days
