Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Lead CT Technologist to oversee day-to-day operation of the CT Department and perform diagnostic radiographic examinations. The role requires independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative, plus guidance and training of technologists to support their growth.

The ideal candidate brings ARRT CT certification, NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology, AHA BLS within 60 days, and a minimum of 3 years of modality experience, along with excellent communication

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in modality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite.

The Lead CT Technologist is responsible for day-to-day technical operation of the CT Department and for performing diagnostic radiographic examinations. This position requires moderate independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative as well as providing guidance and training to technologists in order to maximize their development and growth.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
• Completion of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in modality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT, CT)
• NJ state license for Diagnostic Radiology (D.R.)
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position
