Qualifications

• State licensure, ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) per state regulations.
• BLS certification depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or problems and take action.
• Administer contrast safely and effectively.
• Guide patients through procedures and address questions about exam procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and patient needs regarding exams.
• Demonstrates competency in safeguarding patient property and Health Information.
• Safeguards on-site medications per policy and legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property and patient information on site and portals.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.

You Will:

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

Pay Range: $40.00 - $45.00 / per hour
