Job summary

RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist to join a dedicated radiology team committed to quality patient care. The role offers a sign-on bonus of $5,000 and opportunities in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will perform CT exams, monitor patient well-being, administer contrast, and guide patients through procedures with clear communication. State licensure/ARRT CT certification and BLS may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT (CT) certification and state licensure where applicable.
• BLS certification may be required by state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through procedures by explaining steps and addressing questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients and families in a clinical setting.
• Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

You Will:

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize s patient discomfort or medical problems and take s appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R), and/or ARRT (CT)
• BLS certification depending on state regulations
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred!

Pay Range: $38.00 – $55.00 per hour
