RadNet is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT exams, monitor patients, and administer contrast safely. This role emphasizes patient care, clear communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced radiology setting.

Qualifications

• State licensure and ARRT (R)(CT) Certification may be required by state regulations.
• BLS certification depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through the exam process, answering questions and addressing concerns.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications in line with policy.
• Demonstrate respectful interaction with patients and staff.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

You Will:

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize s patient discomfort or medical problems and take s appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:

• State regulations may necessitate the following certifications: state licensure, ARRT (R)(CT)
• BLS certification depending on state regulations
