Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Lead CT Technologist to supervise daily CT operations and lead the imaging team. The role focuses on maintaining accreditation standards and delivering high-quality imaging services with up-to-date technology.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT CT certification, ARRT program graduate status, and 3+ years of technical experience, plus BLS certification and proven leadership abilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ARRT program and ARRT CT certification.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT CT specialty.
• BLS certification and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

The schedule for this position is variable.

Responsible For

Performs and supervises modality daily operations and provides leadership relative to the assigned area. This position requires 70 percent patient care and 30 percent supervisory functions. Promotes and advocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes in technology and equipment. The Lead CT Technologist ensures accreditations standards are maintained as well as performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of CT equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of an accredited A.R.R.T. program. Registered as a Radiological Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. ARRT (CT).

Minimum Experience Required

3-years of technical experience.

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law

Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists with certification in computed tomography (CT).

Additional Qualifications

• BLS Certified
• Evidence of leadership, critical problem-solving skills, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
