Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Lead Cat Scan Technologist for a 32-hour night shift (Wednesday through Saturday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM). The role involves operating CT scanners, producing diagnostic cross-sectional images, and collaborating with radiology staff to support the department's mission of delivering exceptional and equitable care.

The ideal candidate is ARRT-registered in Radiologic Technology with CT specialization or will obtain it within one year, holds BLS/CPR certification, and

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT registered in Radiologic Technology; CT specialty required or obtained within one year of employment.
• BLS or CPR certification required.
• IV certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operates a CT scanner to perform technologist duties as required for proper departmental workflow.
• Performs appropriate studies for patients of all ages as determined by policy and procedure.
• Prepares patients for exams and ensures patient comfort and modesty at all times.
• Ensures proper study by matching exam requisition with patient identification and clinical history.
• Completes procedures in a timely fashion while providing high-quality images.
