Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to support peri-operative care in the operating room. The role requires CST certification and OR experience with mentoring duties possible as preceptor.

Eligible candidates may qualify for a sign-on bonus; the hospital emphasizes teamwork, quality assurance, and continuous improvement in a large 772-bed system serving a broad region.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of OR experience required; five (5) years preferred.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Basic computer skills in Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performs surgical procedures and maintains OR environment.
• Promotes standards in surgical technology and practice.
• Mentors and supports new staff as a preceptor.
• Contributes to unit quality assurance and lean initiatives.
