The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of related experience, and emphasizes safety, on-time delivery, cost discipline, and continuous improvement in a technical production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading manufacturing teams in production/technical operations.
• Experience managing production schedules, workforce resources, and performance metrics.
• Experience partnering with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, and other functions to resolve production constraints.
• Experience in semiconductor equipment, cryogenic systems, precision instrumentation, aerospace, medical device, or related industries.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, new product introduction, manufacturing readiness, or process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations for advanced cryogenic and precision electromechanical systems.
• Own performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and labor effectiveness.
• Set production priorities, manage resource needs, and drive escalation and recovery actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.
• Maintain production discipline through clear expectations, standard work, and effective handoffs.
• Partner with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, Planning, Facilities to support production goals.
• Support manufacturing readiness, product transitions, and execution for complex technical products.
• Use production data and performance metrics to identify risks, remove barriers, and improve execution.
• Support adoption of manufacturing systems, tools, and standard work practices.
• Communicate production status, risks, and recovery plans to leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing employees; onboarding, training, cross-training, and skills development.
