You will work on mechanical and electro-mechanical subsystems using SolidWorks and rigorous design practices. Qualifications

• At least 5 years of related engineering experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical product development.
• SolidWorks proficiency required.
• Cryogenic or semiconductor equipment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently and with a team, design, develop, and document mechanical and electro-mechanical parts and subsystems using SolidWorks.
• Evaluate trade-offs between performance, cost, manufacturability, reliability, and customer requirements.
• Perform root cause analysis, modeling, tolerance assessment, and prototype evaluation to improve manufacturability, cost, and quality.
• Participate in customer-facing discussions to understand requirements and communicate design approaches.
• Create and maintain complete engineering documentation (drawings, BOMs, specs, test plans) to support lifecycle traceability.
• Occasional travel may be required for customer visits and meetings.
