Job summary

FormFactor, Inc. in Boulder, CO is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer to drive assembly readiness for cryogenic and semiconductor test products.

You will develop processes, tooling, and documentation, partner with Product Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality, and Operations, and ensure safe, repeatable manufacturing. The role emphasizes DFM/DFMEA, ECOs, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to enable robust product builds.

Qualifications

• Experience with cryogenic and semiconductor assembly environments.
• Ability to design fixtures, jigs, and tooling for efficient manufacturing.
• Knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA, DFM, and process control plans.
• Strong data analysis and Lean Six Sigma background.
• Experience with ECOs, NPI, and manufacturing readiness reviews.

Responsibilities

• Support mechanical assembly readiness for assigned products by reviewing drawings, BOMs, and processes.
• Define and document tooling, fixturing, equipment, and process requirements; identify risks before production.
• Develop and improve assembly processes for safe, repeatable, and efficient operations.
• Support NPI activities through manufacturing readiness reviews and production build support.
• Create and modify CAD drawings and documentation to support manufacturing.
• Maintain and improve work instructions and manufacturing travelers.
