Job summary
Linde in Wooster, OH seeks an experienced Design Engineer to develop expertise in cryogenic food freezing systems and drive commercialization of related technologies for pharmaceutical and wastewater applications.
You will lead design teams, apply DMAIC and 8D problem solving, ensure DF Manufacturing practices, and collaborate with customers, suppliers and global engineering partners.
Travel to customer sites is expected; compensation is commensurate with experience.
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in application/design engineering, preferably in food processing or freezing.
- Strong mechanical design experience with sheet metal and machined components.
- Experience designing industrial systems including conveyors, controls and electro‑mechanical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop expertise in cryogenic food freezing systems and drive commercialization of related technologies.
- Lead design teams through product development, reviews, risk assessments, verification and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with customers, suppliers, manufacturing teams and global engineering partners for design, installation, and troubleshooting.
