Job summary
Linde plc, via Linde Engineering Americas (LEA), seeks a control systems engineer for US and select Americas cryogenic liquid trailer filling projects. You will design architecture, I/O layout, networking, programming, and interfaces, and support commissioning to ensure reliable, cost-effective filling systems.
The role requires a BS or licensure with ~5 years of experience; travel up to 25% annually; familiarity with P&ID, ISA symbols, PLC/HMI tools, IEC 61131 languages, and engineering
Qualifications
- BS degree or licensure in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.
- Minimum five years of relevant control systems engineering experience.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute control system functions for US and select Americas projects.
- Lead architecture, I/O layout, networking, programming, and interfaces.
- Provide control system support during commissioning and startup.
- Implement cost-effective control strategies for filling systems.
- Identify efficiency improvements across filling and related processes.
- Interface with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Estimate control system engineering hours and hardware costs for projects and proposals.
