Job summary

Linde Inc. in Wooster, OH is seeking a Customer Site Technician to perform welding, fabrication, assembly and service of industrial gas handling and cryogenic equipment at customer sites.

You will read blueprints, install and maintain cryogenic freezers, and travel to customer locations for installation and service (average 12%, up to 50%). A high school diploma is required; 1–3 years of related experience; TIG/MIG certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Welding, fabrication or manufacturing experience required.
• Proficiency reading blueprints, drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with stainless steel welding, grinding and polishing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication, assembly and service of industrial gas handling and cryogenic equipment at customer sites.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing drawings and electrical schematics.
• Install, remove and service cryogenic freezers and related components at customer sites.
• Travel to customer locations for installation and service (average 12%, up to 50%).
• Maintain safety and operate company vehicles and equipment responsibly.
